Kendo Training in Louisville, KY

Greetings, my name is John and I live in Louisville, KY. I have been studying martial arts since I was 16, mostly Chinese styles(Tai Chi and Wing Tsun) I hav become interested in learning Kendo. Does anyone know of a Kendo School in my area?

There is a new kendo dojo in Louisville that only started about a month ago. There are a couple of dan rank instructors and several students including some brand new beginners. The basis of the club is a group of kendoka who have been making the drive to the Central Kentucky Kendo Club in Lexington on Saturdays. The Louisville Club is training on Thursday nights at an Episcopal Church gym on Baxter Ave. That makes three dojo in Kentucky. Central Kentucky Kendo Club, Louisville and Northern Kentucky Kendo Club in Covington. All clubs are part of the East Central US Kendo Federation.
