That's without bogu. I finally got a uniform, a bokken set and a bag that holds more than one shinai. But most people won't care what I got...I actually came here to post about something unusual about the shipment. I live in Canada and e-bogu ships from the states, so it has to clear customs. The funny thing is, I just looked at the customs sheet on the box and e-bogu put a declared value of $54.00. It's kinda a big error as if they put the real value, I would have been charged close to $100 in taxes. Now that it's only $54.00, depending on what mood they're in over at customs, I could either get a $10.00 bill or nothing.

I have had a few problems with English custom taxes my self. They say the randomly check them and it is unlucky if you get charged. I've never had any problems with E-bogu though and I live 1000s of miles from you :).

It is probably not an error. Some (or quite a few companies) state a low value or mark it as a gift to help customers with qustoms.

hi,
this is definitely no error. thank e-bogu that they prevented that you have to pay taxes :)
i recently purcased from koei (japan) through eurobogu and instead of the real value of the goods they declared a price that was way beneath the real price and so i didn't have to pay any taxes! very nice :D

I have just checked my newly arrived Hakama and Gi from E-Bogu, and they have understated the Customs Vaule of the shipment quite drastically. Much thanks to them!

Hmm, I find it interesting that you bought items which have traveled across the Pacific Ocean twice.
