Who is interest in gathering all the questions and answers here, and other websites, to build an FAQ list of Kendo?
Who is avaliable in sorting out the Q&A?
Who is free for Septemper?
Here's a draft of the site content and part of the questions: (I'm still working on it so keep checking...and the Q# are all wrong)

Mr. Neil Gendzwill has/had one going a while back: Japanese Sword Arts FAQ Version 2.7 (http://www.ii.uib.no/~kjartan/swordfaq/). Not sure of the current status of it however.

I read Gendzwill's FAQ a long time ago... But I would like to see a live site only focuses on Kendo.
If that one is working we shouldn't have people keep asking the same question once a week here in the forum...

Plus many answers of the new FAQ will link/credit back to Gendzwill's.

I've been meaning to get something going here, but its right down the list that seems to grow longer every day!

We'll host it, format it and keep it maintained if we can get people to contribute to it.

Check out the new forum, FAQ, and let's go from there.

Mmm... Dear Hamish,

Sorry to say this, but I think the problem is the arrangement of all the forums. Because most of the users only does/ask about Kendo, which makes the other sections very empty. And the result of the one-size-fit-all style of the Kendo section is repeated questions...You see because posts are not categorized (eg. techniques, equipments etc., the obvious categories) it's very strange if anyone wants to ask a few questions, or reply to a few threads... Everyone will end up seeing the same name over and over in a row, and think, "hell, why does this person talk so much?" (sorry I've to take Confound for example).

You're the admin here so you decide... I'm asking for too much already...(and getting the service for free :p )

Yeah, fair enough, I'll move that a bit further up the to-do list!

I've got one week to go to my wedding, so I may just do a quick re-categorisation and see how it goes before fine tuning it a bit more in a couple of weeks.

Oh... Omededougozaimasssss!!

(Meng, stop being so surprised)

I was about to say some greetings in Chinese, but I cannot translate any of them without sounding stupid.

Mmm...wedding in Japan. All I can think of is the big Sake barrel:o

Another possible FAQ: How many experienced kendoka out there is not married? :p

Thankyou very much!

In true Japanese style, the wedding is traditional Shinto, the reception is at a French restaurant, and the 2nd party after that is at an Irish bar!!

Mingshi -- Your outline looks great! I don't really have the kendo knowledge to help out with the writing, but I'd be happy to do some editing.

Hamish -- Omedetou gozaimasu indeed! Your wedding reception and nijikai plans sound like more fun than the one I went to on Saturday night. (Didn't help that the person getting married was a teacher whom I've spoken to only once or twice). Where's the honeymoon, and will you be bringing along a shinai? ;)

I thought you were already married .... to kendo!!! :D
Don't do it, you'll never be able to afford a new set of bogu ever again!

Tim, I got in first and bought a new set of 2 bu hand stitched armour 3 weeks ago. ;)

Rachel, we're going to Paris, and the shinai is staying behind this time, as the last 2 times I went to Paris it was for kendo and naginata respectively, so it's about time I had a proper holiday, especially this time.

I've also been informed that I'll need my hands free to carry the shopping bags, rather than my bogu bag!!
