In baseball, its the homerun. In basketball the slamdunk, in golf, the eagle.

So, in kendo, what would you call the moment of "pwnage"? your own opinion of course

actually in golf it would be a hole in one, or an albatross (1 better than an eagle)

skullcracker(men), wristmasher(kote), ab-ripper(do), necktwister(tsuki)

I like the skullcracker :)

I'd think its tsuki. I mean, how often do people actually score with that? Its quite impressive when you get a clean one off.

For me the home run of kendo would be a cut where body, mind and sword are one.

Homerun, the kendo definition...
After smacking opponent out of the arena, throw your shinai away, run around the 3 shinpan's, and return to original place. If anyone obstructs you, complain about foulplay.

I say tsuki in terms of kihon. Even if you score it in teh beginning or end, it is like a slam dunk. Or if you hit a "helicopter men" or a "bunny men" you get the hit plus the "ooooooo... aaaaaaaa" effect..

Is the bunny men the one where someone runs at you from outside the Issuko Itto range (forgot what it's called) and jumps and hits your men just as he hits the ground?

What's helicopter men?

Helicopter men and bunny men are not official names for kendo moves. They are made-up names by some people in a dojo in Southern California.

Oh, I know they're not official names, but everytime I've seen bunny men used, I couldn't figure out what it actually was.
I did however go up against someone in a shiai a few weeks back who did a men on me which was as I described so I just thought maybe that's what a bunny men was.

For me, the Homerun of kendo would be a so good ippon that your oponnent doesn't even have the time to move.

home run = final match in shiai, done in 5 seconds.

then what about grand slam?

with 2 men points from starting position that they don't have time to react to.. ultimate embarassment

In tai-atari, I push my opponent back...
After my opponent falls and is lying on the ground...
I jump up about 5 feet in the air, spin my shinai 180 degrees and raise my arms for a downward stab...
I yell "SORE!!!" as I land with the tip in the middle of his do...
at this point, a Shinto bell is heard ringing in the air as three geisha walk out with special black flags...
as I am levitating in mid-air by some unknown force...
taiko drums begin roaring in the background...
each judge is given a black flag to raise in my favor...
symbolizing the home-run of kendo.

Every home-run I get, you get a free coupon for ¥100 ramen. :)

how about a really quick tsuki within 5 seconds that knocks off his men and falls on to the ground with a really big THUMP. (probably won't happen unless the dude doesn't know how to tie the men right).

Zanshin. The moment where both you and the opponent know you've completely and utterly dominated them in a single move. Where time around you stops and for the split second, it's just you and them, as victor and vanquished.*

* - Not my definition of zanshin, but it sounded cool huh

I call it Zanshin.
Zanshin with full confidence that you made an ippon with the confirmation by three flags (of course cour colour) raised as one with lightning speed. Preceded by the satisfactory sound of a perfect hit debana men.

homerun in kendo is gyaku-do with a baseball bat...

but only if the opponent lands out of the shiaijo.

My Kendo Homerun is the one secound men. Right when the shu-shin calls hajime, you and your opponent gets up, you go men, and they're just standing there.

That was the best hit i've ever done
