Hi fellas:

Does anyone agree with me that the new Kendo World forums layout (with postings in subcategories) makes the forum much less conducive to browsing?

Before, once you entered the forum, all the latest threads would appear at the top, and you could read or post to whichever one that interested you. Now, we have to go through each of subgroups to read posts inside them. (many more clicks and unnecessary page loads!)

I think the new system is helpful for those who already have a good idea of what information they're looking for, but most of the time, I just like to log on an browse around. Under the new system, I'm inclined to stay away.

Maybe I'm just lazy. Comments?

You may want to use the 'View New Posts' option.. that'll give you a list over all the posts since your last visit.

I've started using the "new posts" thing and it works nicely.

Forum does seem to be quieter now though.....

One of the main reasons for putting the categories in was to make it easier for people to find stuff, as we were getting a lot of interesting things that I think are useful for anyone doing kendo, but they were getting a bit lost.

For those already registered, if you're using the new posts link, you shouldn't notice any difference.

Happy browsing!!
