They would have recieved a good smacking on the bottom, for being naughty, from the Phantom Kendoka!! Who would then disappear into the crowd of likewise bogu wearing kendo practitioners...hehehe...they seek him here...they seek him there...


Incidentally, I was filming when the Queen arrived...right up to the point where she sat right opposite me and I realised my camera was at knee level...and that she was seated...and that she was wearing a skirt...lets just say my camera got turned off right at that point :scared:

Besides, none of the 8Dan is brave enough to ask the Queen to take off her shoes, not even the president of the AJKF.

On a side note, Kendo is the first martial arts event that the Queen gets a visit... Be very proud!

Well disregarding the endless jovial replies to this post. I have been wondering for a long time the difference between British and Japanese kendo.
Is it really that we have a disadvantage not learning Kendo on a regular basis from an early age or some thing else. For example cultural differences.

There are some great kendo-ka in England but there is no question that the Japanese have a much different style....

Don't be mistaken, I'm a Quebecois by nature, so any joke about French culture or language grabs me by the heart.
