I'm planning on being there for part of the day. I won't be playing however. I'll be there to cheer on my buddies. Aren't you in So Cal? Anyway, maybe we'll see you there.

So where exactly is the taikai? There is nothing on the San Jose Dojo site or on the NCKF site. What gives?

Thanks,
Brian

I don't know....I am getting a ride from someone else, so it didn't strike me to ask where it was....Which, in hindsight was pretty stupid of me....

Dear All,

Here are the results of the tournament held last Sunday.

Unfortunately, my team was eliminated second round by our own Team 'A'

Actually it is on Sunday, August 18 at the Japanese Community Center on Sutter St.

For more information you should contact your dojo representative that attends the monthly board meetings.

That's right...July 18th....

Looks like it will be an interesting tournament as they have altered from the typical format of Adult Kyu (any rank), 1-2 Dan, 3-4 Dan and 5 Dan up....and divided the adult tournament into different rank categories...

Looking at the Program the groups are divided into:

6Kyu ~ 3 Kyu
2Kyu ~ 1 Dan
2 Dan ~ 4 Dan
5 Dan Up.
