They have a full set of eleven derived mainly from Muso Jikiden Eishin ryu, which was done to be taught to the pre-war Japanese army. Its quite a large organisation, and seems to be one of the 'big three' in Japan along with the ZNKR and Butokukai. Butokukai was the 'original' big association but was dissolved in 1945. It revived around the same time as the rest, but obviously all the senior instructors were spread around so you end up with some good guys in them all. Its your choice! As over here in the west, there are a lot of smaller groups most of us never hear about. Try Colin Hyakutake's site for some further info. He lives over there and is a member of an ' old styles' assocaition which includes his own style of long sword, niten ichi ryu and others. Dont dismiss the small groups, they can have some excellent teachers as well!( Imai sensei from Niten being a fine example).
