Slow Server

I know im new (only been here 2 days), but is it just me, or is the server really slow today? It takes me 30secs to go into any page. Yesterday was fine, but today is real slow.

im on DSL so im not sure if its my end :confused:

I thought this topic would be some witty diatribe on how one's waza are too slow, but oh well...I could go on all day about my lethargic waza...

As for the delay, yes, it's you. My 56K connection takes less than 2 seconds, bwahahaha! And when you get really good at kendo you will take those delays in stride, or find other things to do while you wait, like more suburi! :)

Next time try loading another site to see if it's your DSL and not the local server.

No, it's not just you. I've noticed the same thing.
For instance, it took 49 secs just to load up this page.

I'm also on dsl (2048/512), and most other sites load almost instantaneously.

yea, other sites are no problem at all. my download times are fine.

sometimes, i can't even get on this site at all. it says "unable to reach server or server has timed out, please contact the administrator" something like that. ive never experienced this before

Yes, we were having problems with our server. They say they have sorted it out so things should be back to normal. Sorry for the inconvenience. :rolleyes:
