P.C.I. Kendo Dojo in pasadena japanese cultural center

i am thinking about joining this dojo and was wondering if anyone had any good/bad experiences with it

Mmmmm.... Baja Fresh. Wish we had one of those here, that's the best chain Mexican restaurant there is I think. Topic... oh yeah. PCI is highly regarded, one of the best dojo in SoCal. Goferitdude.

The first time I visited the dojo, Nakauchi sensei was a total riot. He would ask me if I was ready for him, then proceed to strip my shinai and make it fly across the dojo...3 times.

They must have the routine down because the stray flying shinai never once flew into the other kenshi at the dojo.

Our favorite Hachidan Sensei..

I first started Kendo with him in the early 70's...He is quite knowledgeable in Kendo.

Nakauchi Sensei , Very nice guy , has a knockout yoko men ...

Yamasaki Sensei , very cool , just watch out for his Hasso tricks ...
