anybody know of any good books about kendo, training, philosophy, history, etc?
i've read kendo by minoru kiyota. and i recommend it as it details the history of budo and looks at how different buddhist philosophies affected the development of kendo/bushido.

I believe that by far the most 'instructional' one is KENDO - The Definitive Guide. It's very useful for beginners. Then there's the older 'This is Kendo', which is very nice for providing a view on kendo in the sixties, and also features a lot of history and some more advanced sections.
