Hey guys, i just started doing Kendo a couple weeks ago.
japanese is its official language rights? Well in class we count in japanese and i dont know all the numbers. All i know is ich ni san chi or something. Can you guys perhaps show me maybe from 1-100 or 1-10. or maybe the first person to reply can put 1-10 then the next person can put 11-20 and so on, thanks for the help guys

for kendo, you really only need to know 1-10. if you wanna know more, YOU go google, or dogpile, or lycos or whatever. :wink:

I got mine from the Kendo-World gardians. YOu must pray to the diety of avatars. only then will you get avatar!

no you pray first to the god of internet (your modem) then it will grant you the location, appearance, and name of the god of avatars, then you must spend 2 months in pilgrimage telling everyone that they must also spend 2 hours a day bowing to their modem's.. if you survive this far, ill tel you how to get an avatar..

The shortened way to say all numbers with one syllable is:
ich
ni
san
shi
go
rok
shich
hach
kuu
juu

Sometimes when doing mega-drills, the sensei and the students will count off 1 through 10 repeatedly, i.e. not counting 11, 12, etc. But, when the count reaches 20, 30, 40, 50, etc., only the sensei will count off the 20, 30, 40, 50 etc. while the students always count the 10.
