Has anyone recieved used uniform from their sensei? Is that a good or bad thing? I have heard bogu but he gave me his sweaty smelly old uniform.... sniff sniff he loves this poor guy =]

Why don't you wash it. It's probably white.

is he japanese.....? i read somewhere (now umm if i am wrong please dont hate me) that samurai of higher rank used to give samurai of lower rank a article of clothing to show mutal respect i guess.... and maybe tahts what he's doing ....wild guess ....maybe...yeah im wrong i think....

No, you are correct. In a religious context, the passing on of a robe has an even deeper significance.
