View Full Version : Individual Tournaments Calender?

Anyone know of any individual kendo tournaments schedule within the next year for the US? I only know of the events scheduled within my regional federation and the AUSKF website doesn't really list anything. I'm interested in participating in a tournament... for fun of course, as I am only shodan and will probably get kicked around by everyone else.

There aren't that many dojos in the surrounding states where I live so I figure I'd like to fly out somewhere for a shiai, especially since I also have a free round-trip airline ticket. I know there is probably a ton in southern california. But I'm not a glutton for punishment...

PNKF tournaments that are available:
PNKF Invitational 11-13-04 Has a 1-2 Dan division,this one has Canadian and others besides the PNKF members.

Thanks! Is there any tournament information available yet for that shiai? I went to the PNKF website but didn't see anything about one in November. I did see the Women's Championship info but it's a little late for me to visit that one... plus I'm not a girl :P

Dont forget 10th Nabeshima Cup (once every 2 yr event) in Dallas.
It will be April 22nd to 24th, 2005.

At this taikai, we will have 1-kyu or below division, 1 to 3-dan division and 4-dan up division.
I will have more detailed infos. :wink:

The next couple in So Cal are the Nisei week tournaments, Aug 8 in Los Angeles and Aug 15 in Long Beach. After that we head up to Fresno on Sep 5. :cross_eye:

Oct 3rd SCKO Individual Championships
Nov 13th PNKF Tournament
