I noticed that from watching my video, senior kendokas can point out mistakes I made. Could this then be applied to grading and instruction?
Take clubs in places with no senior kendokas, they have the spirit but no guidance. What with all the digital technology today could we not grade or train people via video or net based communications.
eg. live video feed to a panel of high ranking kendokas to grade students below Shodan. Or to watch a video of a practice and then to send back an instruction on what to improve.
This of course is not better than the real thing but its an idea.
