I've been doing kendo since May of this year but a fellow stopped in to the dojo one night and I watched him and was instantly hooked. So within two weeks ago I approached him and asked to teach me what he knows. But he is very busy with his job and as such makes it difficult to make it to every practice. I am very grateful that he is teaching me for the short periods that he is there. I still get all excited when he shows up. In the mean time I've read just about everything that I can on the Internet about naginata. I've watched as many clips as I could find over and over and over... And then I've been web-window-shopping for bogu, gi & hakama and most certainly a shiai yo naginata. I figure that the shiai would be a better investment at this time than a kihon one would.
Ahhh but enough rambling for now.
Maybe this will just stir up the naginata forum a little. It's just sooo quiet!
