Pic in my signature¿¿¿?

how do i get a pic in my sig...... ive tried all different kinds of things but it wont work...when i insert image it never shows up?

First you need to get the image hosted (not on your hard drive). Then go to User CP, edit signature and write url of image here.
But do try to keep te images small (avatar size).

It is with img gode as well. But it only works in the multimedia forum and sigs.

no it doesnt bother me.. i have broadband so it doesnt hinder my internet viewing in any way but.. it was a weird pic anyway :P

a lode (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=lode)is the same as a load. A large vein of metal. A Mother Lode would be a very big vein. Imagine finding all the gold infort knox in raw form.

they're cool because when you go to upload a picture, they'll supply you with 3 lines of code for different uses

like an < IMG SRC= code for HTML and an [ IMG ] code for these type of forums

try to keep it small, but i mean it's the year 2004... anybody who's hardware OR patience is incapable of waiting an extra second for a 72 DPI 1' x 3' image... well i won't count their opinion about images... after all this forum is not half as bad as some I frequent.

Some forums have caps on the dimensional sizes of pictures... but people will get around this by posting 2 or 3 smaller sigs.... now when 40 people do that THEN there's loading issues.

by spamming do you mean making the thread longer than it needs to be?
I've heard of spam in forums to define a few different things.
Mainly i thought it was making unnecesesary comments like
"LOL fadsfasd!" and that's it... useless and too small
most forums have a word count minimum to threads and replies.

Also, if someone chooses they can go into options under your user you can choose to not view signitures and such.

If somebody makes a choice not to view sigs, i won't be offended.... but i think they're "purdy"

I think you've missed the point. The forum interface also allows me to use silly fonts in hot pink and in large sizes.

That doesn't mean i have to, in effect, cause eye-aches and inconvenience to other users. A pic-sig is not a big deal, but it is annoying to many for various reasons and rarely seen around this forum. Do what you like, but consider the Japanese proverb about the nail that sticks out....

Personally, i like your toons, and would love to see more in the Media section. But i don't need to see the same one over and over again in your sig.

Wow, thanks for starting this thread, I have been wondering the same thing but to afraid to ask lol, but since were on the subject of what we can do with graphics and stuff on this thread, how the heck to I get my custom avatar up? And how do I put a little comment thingy under my name rather than 'registered user' ?

You need a certain amount of posts to access those functions. I think it's 100 but I was able to get mine from my 65th post. Here (http://www.kendo-world.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3791) is a thread for that purpose.
