Hello, I first heard about kendo on another forum, and it sounded very fun. I want to do it but I can't find somewhere to train. I live in Westchester, New York, USA. If any of you could kindly tell me any good places to train, that would be great. Thanks alot.

Thank you very much.
Where in Westchester? I train at Scarsdale Kyudokan and I know there's one in Pleasantville headed by Dan Chapman. If you don't mind going into NYC or NJ, there are a lot more choices.

That link is by state, not federation, so you might have some more options there.

We don't have an Website ( Surprise! ) and we train at one of the Edgemont Schools ( Greenville ) Near Central Ave not too far from the Ford Dealer.
We also have another dojo in NJ ( Palisade Park ) which you can practce on Sunday 10:00-12:00 a.m. at no additional cost.

Let me know if you are serious. You're welcome to come and watch any time.

If you have yet to watch kendo in person, Shidogakuin is having their 20th anniversary tournament this coming weekend in Jersey City. Little bit of a drive from Westchester but it may be worth it for you to come down and watch.
