Do you prefer individual or team matches?

I like both, but so far I (generally) prefer individual matches.

Team matches have good comeraderie, but then the extra complication (pressure or motivation depending on which way you look at it) of doing well for your comrades.

However, a good about team matches in the West, there is often the chance that the team will be quite mixed as far as grades go, so it gives people a chance to fight at different levels, and is not so stratified as having the same high grades meeting eachother in the later rounds which tends to happen in individual matches.
I still have a feeling it is somehow better to stand or fall one's own. (Er... but don't stop picking me for teams!)

I like fighting in teams because the experience lasts longer than it does in individuals.

In team I can rely on the others to get me through to at least the second or third round. Whereas in individuals it's 1 fight and out most of the time. :D

There isn't much difference.

Individuals: I get to go more

Teams: I play harder opponents than I usually play in my kyu category.

I like both, but fighting in teams is much more involving.
if you have to pick up points, or just keep the opponents from getting any, or just cheering for your team mates, it's all fun :)
