How big is your dojo?

HI ppl,

Im wondering about the size of the dojos around other countries. Anyone here who goes to a dojo building standing by itself, or mostly goes to a school gym or some other building? I go to a dojo in a fitness centre..the centre itself is fairly big but my dojo is in a small hall (in the centre) no much bigger than 3/4 of a bball court...(not even that i think)

about the same. it's in a small school. we have one toilet bowl (no sink) one small changing room and a sports gym but its home.

our dojo is quite big i think, 2/3rds of a very giant basketball court.
thats because we have alot of people in our dojo and we do the begginers course at the same time as the normal lesson, and they need space for "men men men men men men men men men etc.."

Our is also about the same size. Usually there are three areas that we could practice in that Gym. There are two basketball court and one room that is about the size of two raquetball court(or a little bigger). We use the basketball court for regular practice where both the beginners and the seniors are mix, and we use the smallest room when we have either the senior or beginner class. The small room is good because it has a mirror. But basketball season is about right around the corner. The two basketball gyms are going because to be use by the school. Im not sure where we going to go once it gets started.

I´M FROM MENDOZA ARGENTINA, IS THE CITY WHERE YOU CAN FIND ACONCAGUA, THE HIGHEST MOUNTAIN IN AMERICA (THE CONTINENT NOT THE COUNTRY!!!!), A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO MY SEMPAIS HAVE FOUNDED THE AKM (ASOSIACION DE KENDO DE MENDOZA or MENDOZINIAN KENDO ASSOCIATION), THE NAME OF THE DOJO IS KATORI MEIYO, WE ARE A VERY LITTLE DOJO, BUT WE ARE TRAINING HARD, AND THE DOJO ITSELF IS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE WHITH A APPROPRIATE FLOOR AND FULL OF LOCAL COLOR (VERY PINTORESQUE).

I´M GLAD TO TALK ABOUT MY DOJO BUT MY ENGLISH IS NOT THAT GOOD FOR CONTINUE DESCRIVING IT, SO WHEN I TAKE SOME PICTURES I WILL POST THEM.

Our dojo use to be so big , now due to cut back we move to this hall is so small with no change room.

i practice at a japanese style dojo. there are two rooms at that dojo. the kendo room shares its place with the karate club and the other room is used by the judo club(not too sure if they are sharing it with someone because of their floors). i think it's the only japanese dojo in canada.

Our Dojos are both in school basketball/volleyball/handball court and gym. They are fairly big and we have proper changing rooms with showers. The floor in Porto isn’t exactly what I would like. We need a large place because we have a lot o people practicing. My country is small with only 2 Dojos but people here really want to practice Kendo.

one of my dojos(we practice at two locations) is a big japanese style dojo in a japanese school.

The other is "martial arts" room in a sports centre and is fairly small and you have to mind the bulbs or you will break them and cut your feet with the glass.
