interested to start kendo

Hi everyone..
I am new to this forum and was wondering if anyone could help me.
I want to join beginner kendo class which start next year but concerned if wearing a glassess would be a problem since poeple need to wear a head protector and during sparring the head might be hit. Could I still take up kendo while wearing a glassess?

uhmmm this topic was discussed a few times already, you could do a search in the forums,or you could also look for these titles in the forums - "For whose who wear glasses in MEN", "Glasses Issue", "Glasses in Men?" . Also there is a kendo glasses accessory item that you could buy specially made for use in the men(head protector). Anyways it will be awhile before you even get to put on the men, since your just wanting to start,...and besides I know a bunch of people who practise kendo that use/wear glasses, it really isnt a problem.
