Kendo/Iaido in Niigata

I've started kendo in Thailand for a year now.Next year I'm going to attend International University of Japan,in Yamatomachi,Niigata Perfecture,for an MBA degree. I really love kendo,but I also want to do iaido to supplement my kendo. There are no place that teach iaido in Thailand. So,this is my only oppurtunity to do iaido for 2 years. In my university,it has kendo club,which I will join for sure,but they didn't do iaido there. So,I gotta find a place to study iaido near my university. I dont speak japanese,but I will learn it when I get there.Can any one recommend iaido dojo,that welcome foreigner and be able to speak some english? or any reccommend is welcome.

You're best to get an introduction from the sensei at the university dojo. As for speaking English in dojo in Niigata, you might be lucky!

so,english speaking dojo may be hard to find,but even they are speaking japanese,I will still go for it. I have to learn the language anyway.

So,english speaking dojo are very rare,right? Nevertheless,even they are speaking only japanese,I will still go for it. I study japanese there,so I will be understand them eventually.Just hard at a first few month.
