Hi, i am from Peru, i have 5 months in kendo and i have to say this is the best martial art... Ok, to the point, my sensei is 4th dan and i would like to see him advancing to 5th dan but i want to know which are the diferences between 4th and 5th dan, what does he have to improve to advance. Actually i have a friend 1th dan and i want to know the differences between 1th and 2th dan, i want to help them using your advices and ideas. So any help you can bring would be apreciated.

I have a long way to go before 5th dan. However here (http://www.st.rim.or.jp/%7Eshimano/doujo/eng/chuden_e.html) is an article about it. (click where it says Godan)
Is it me or that peruvian flag is missing something in the centre?

yes, what is missed in our flag is the shield, but no problem with that. Where do you practice lloromannic? i was in Mexico, i couldn't go to the federation but now i know where it is. i made contact with Sensei Adalberto Chavez.

www.dfwkik.org (%0Awww.dfwkik.org) is a dojo in Dallas.
Here (http://www.auskf.info/mainpages/schools.htm) is a page with all the auskf affiliated dojos in the US

I have practiced with Chavez sensei many times and I greatly enjoy being his motodachi :D
I train with Carlos Martinez and Enrique Enriquez. I don't actually know their rank, it's never been something that interests me. I know Enrique is making a test in Cuba soon. As for me I am a lowly 4th kyu.
I'm afraid I can't ask them about your sensei now as they are in Cuba. But in my opinion making a resolute graceful attack is the most important part.

undead_joker, it's hard to say this without coming off as condescending but... you don't yet have the level to understand the difference between those two levels and there's not much you can do to help your teacher other than be supportive in general.

¿Como estas? Voy a estar en Peru a principios de Noviembre, y me gustaría si el tiempo me lo permite practicar con ustedes. ¿Están ubicados en Lima?
