This may be stupid question but...
I am about to order a new bogu and i wondered how tight the kote should be on your hands.
super tight so there is no movement within the glove at all?
medium, so you have a bit of space to move your fingers, or
loose, so it is nice and roomy?

Matthew....if you are mail ordering kote and do not have an opportunity to try them on this may help you get a proper size.....trace your hands on a piece of paper.....do both the right and left hand with the fingers together....trace from one side of the wrist around to the other side of the wrist.....this helps to measure the length of your hand from the tip of the middle finger to the wrist and the width of your hand at its widest part.....also attach a note commenting on the thickness of your hands whether you think they are thin, average or thick....this will help in the selection of the right size kote for you....Personally as far as the fit goes I like between what you call tight and medium not too much play as this makes my grip more difficult....Good Luck Jerry:)

my previous kote set was tight in the beginning but after a few matches they loosened as the skin streached a bit, and moulded to fit my hand more or less perfectly :)

Slightly too tight when new, so that it will not be too loose when broken in...
