just a quick intro to be polite. Just started Kendo (second lesson last night) and am enjoying it throroughly. Kind of wish I'd started earlier but at least I'm doing it now. So far no blisters but I've been assured that they'll come.

I've been practicing for over 6 months now....I also wish I could've stared sooner....but unfortunattly in Portugal the was only one place where you could pactice Kendo..and it was in Lisbon (more than 300 km away)..then last year..in November they decided to bring kendo to my town^^..I signed up as soon as i could...and I'm LOVING IT.

As for the blister...you're right...they WILL show up ;P

Fully intend sticking with it Chris, am enjoying it too much not to and I agree with the comments about the info on the boards. Hopefully it'll stop me asking too many stupid questions at the dojo although everyone's been very good about that there.

Welcome! I am sure you will enjoy it immensely, and although the first time in a bogu may be a bit...jarring...just stick with it and you will see why so many people love Kendo so much.

Thanks Hai-Hai, I'll keep that in mind. I think that I'm a long, long way off wearing bogu yet Kanyil but with time (lots of) and practice (even more) I look forward to it. :D I'm sure that I'll find that I like it even more.
