salt stains on men

I've been practicing kendo for about 3 years now. I'm starting to get salt stains on my men from all the sweat. What is the best way to get rid of it? I've tried using a brush to get it off, but that hasn't worked very well.
Suggestions?

On another thread someone mentiones that steam cleaning will get all the crap off of your men, & even make it smell better.

Never mind. Did a search. Seems that a damp towel will do the trick and also a steam cleaning like suggested above :wink:
