HELP!!!

I only been going to Kendo for about 7 months and I need to no what grade you start on is it 6th kyu or 1st kyu. thanks.

Since you're a sensei, I'd say you're probably at least sandan and above :D

Just kidding.

The kyu grades go backwards, 6,5,4,3,2,1 (ikkyu)

Then the dan grades go forwards, shodan (1), nidan (2), sandan (3), yondan (4), ... etc.
