Did anyone see the Malaysian Airline commercial using Kendo. They have taken two people in Bogu and transformed them to a 3D grid image and replaced the shinai with light sabres. ThatŐs not so bad. But one stands on the spot doing repeated diagonal strikes until to the others head till he falls on the floor in a heap.
Not so flattering and hardly the image you would want a parent seeing who is thinking of letting his kids take up Kendo.

Well, the kendouka who gets hit on the head represents the Malasia airlines customer. The person doing the hitting represents the effective customer service representatives of Malasia airlines.
Which channel is showing it? one of the nationals, or a local one?

I am really gonna have to look into this one. What the hell is the creative department thinking...this is like those weird perfume commercials with women singing opera in the middle of adeset with a camel riding a harley. Then the non related caption, "Tommy boy...for men"
The again maybe from a japanese perspective the semantics of it makes sense...
Wish they would show it here in malaysia...

Yeah saw it on BBC and I was very surprised. It's actually a commercial for the video games that can be played on Malaysia Airlines. Not actually sure if that's one of the games or not. My wife and I laughed at how pathetic the men-nuki-do waza was. Well, it was at least entertaining for the moment.
