I am warning you now that your language is unaccceptable and so is your rude attitude ohisb forum. We do have rules here. One more post like this, and I will personally see to it that you get banned immediately. Do you understand me? At 13, you are old enough to mind your manners and not act like a person who comes from the gutter.
I doubt you practice Kendo. If you did, you would not be talking like a trashy kid who needs his mouth washed out with soap.
Oh, and I would suggest that you not get smart with me, because I WILL report you you WILL get banned if you post another post like the above. You MAY however, ask a sensible and nice question about Kendo iapolite manner. Otherwise, please do not post and make a scene. Nobody is interested in a mouthy kid and his trolling.
If you can be nice and act polite and have good questions, we will welcome you here, ok? Otherwise, you won't be here long.
Kaoru :)

I'm a kid (sorta) and I think i'm turning out semi alright...
I think it stems from that belief that kids have that they're immortal, that they can pull stuff and get away with it. to quote an acquaitance of mine "When parents handed out ***whoopings there were no school shootings"

Of course we care.(Well, I know I do. I'm sure the others do too!) :) Your apology is accepted. Thank you for being so nice about it.
Do you really do Kendo or do you need help finding a dojo? We can't teach you anything online, but we can help you find a dojo or try to answer any questions you have if you are in Kendo already.
Anyway, I can now say welcome. So, welcome to the forum. I saw your other apology too. :)

I might have been wrong in thinking you were here to make trouble. the word of the day being "might"
but I'll say this, I dont know if you think swearing and spouting off is considered mature just because you hear that stuff in rated R movies, but to me its just an eyesore.
Save swearing for when you drop a wrench on your toe. I'm tired of people who think that adding four letter words to their lame jokes makes them funnier

Were you serious at all about what you were asking in this thread? I accept your apology for the language and all, but do you really expect to cut things in half with kendo? If you want to learn the cutting art, find a place to learn tameshigiri under the direction of a qualified sensei. Even without the swearing, your post would be considered very rude; I'm sure you will act more responsibly with the forum in the future.

To further add to your point because it is obvious mingshi had some very nice venom in her connotation of americans, there is a European "american" football league. Lastly, some good QB's have come out of that league.

You're such a dumbass I don't even care. You CAN use guns in Kendo (like in that movie with that dude who does gun-kata, he's a samurai), but its dishonourable, and you should gut yourself for even thinking about it... and same goes for all you nito kendoka. In fact, you shouldn't even use ONE shinai. WTF happened to 'impaling yourself on your enemies blade'? eh? eh? But it's not like I care, thats why I'm posting, cos I don't care.

Ok guys, back off. Leave him alone. I mean it. Heck, he apologised, and all most of you did, was chew him out some more. The only three who gave good constructive criticism without being unkind are Twobitmage-san, Neko-san and Dandan-san. The rest of you should be ashamed. Honestly. He just apologised again. He will learn from his mistakes. Now, just accept his apology and be quiet, the lot of you. If he had continued his rudeness, I'd have said nothing about these replies and just reported him. I think he won't though. Let him have a chance.
Spector-san, I will say, that what the three people I mentioned above wrote to you, is good advice and good constructive criticism.
Ok... now, let's stop talking about this.
Spector-san, don't be afraid to ask good questions about Kendo. Or, you can just lurk here. Many do. You'll learn a lot by reading. If you decide you are interested in trying Kendo, tell me and I can help you find a dojo, ok? Otherwise, just read. :)

Well for one, you will never cut anyone in half doing kendo as your only using a shinai. Anyway Kendo and Iaido are not about cutting people up, people get different things out of it, but it seems your reasons for doing it are clouded.

No trying to be rude, but are you my friends sensei? No, not at all. One of the things you might learn in Kendo is called the Sempai/Kohai relationship. Your friends are guys I help (as opposed to teach) in class. Sempai are responsible for their Kohai, Kohai are respectful to and learn from their Sempai. I am Kohai to others more senior than me, Sensei (we have six) are senior to us all.

Oh for heaven sakes! He's a KID. He can't just pick up and go if he wants. If he has something planned, then he does. And, he'd have to ask his parents permission anyway, and THEY have schedules too, and so are unlikely to just get up and go. So, getting to a first practice will have to be planned in advance. They will want to know what Kendo is, and who invited him, and this is easily solved with a phone call.
Quit giving him such a hard time guys. Hunter-san, you have been most helpful to Spectre-san. :) And, what you said is quite true.
Spectre-san, please answer truthfully my questions. How much do you want to do Kendo? Are you willing to take up Hunter-san's(Paikea-san) offer? I can assure you his dojo is very good. You wouldn't be sorry. You are VERY lucky to have a Kendo dojo right in your city. That does not happen often. Tell you what, youd be foolish to not go and at least try a practice. Wouldn't I give a lot to have dojo so close. You know how far MY dojo is? Just a little over 2 hours away. Please be thankful and accept Hunter-san's offer and ask him when the next practice is, and ask your parents to take you. You are SO lucky this dojo is near you, it's not even funny!
And, I think Hunter-san is VERY nice to offer you a chance to forget this whole incident and welcome you to his dojo. I think you should accept, since he was so nice to you.
