I started with my kendo 2 years ago.
About 20 men do kendo in my dojo. President of Russian Kendo Federation is my sensei.
There are equipment for novice (bogu) and it's for free...from Japan. If man can afford, he buys bogu himself. Order it in internet shop or smth else.
