Well, since there have been no Jodo posts for a month I thought I would say Merry Christmas, and that on Saturday the Sydney dojo of the Sei Ryu Kai (SMR) had its end of year embu with demonstrations of kata from seitei jo, plus SMR jo from omote, chuden, kage, and one other set whose name escapes me plus the ancillary weapons kenjutsu, kusurigame, jutte and tanjo. Everyone did 3 kata of their choice - so it was a sampler :).
It gave an idea of just how much there is to learn - and it was an extra pleasure to see the founders of Australian Kendo, Rex and Ron, sitting and watching.
