I'm thinking about purchasing a nice set of bogu that lasts till I retire. Currently I have machine made 3mm with 40 piece fiberglass do. I wouldn't know what the difference would be with Bamboo do since I have no experience. But it seems about $300-$400 difference just to upgrade do with 50 piece bamboo.
I know bamboo is probably right choice for hand made 1.2 bu bogu set. Besides the point it sounds nice, are there any practical/functional advantages in having bamboo do?
