I thought I'd create this survey, just to gain a reference point of what grade the average KWF user is.

Was this suppost to be a poll?

It has the poll symbol on the index/home page of the forum but not on the gradings page and - obviously - no poll when you get to the thread page?

*edit* Now I have posted this the little graph icon on the index/home page has gone! Strange!!!

*edit* Now I have a poll!!!!!! What is going on !!!!!

I'm testing for 3rd kyu (actually 3rd keup - I'm a Kumdo student) next month (17 months experience).

I'm shodan after almost two years of practice, last months every jigeiko I did was about getting that seme and sho-men with kikentai, and it apparantly worked at the grading after the winterseminar.

I wasn't sure after my two jikeiko's because it was all I did during an entire time to my opinion extremely short jikeikos. Even though most of my hits were clean (someone told me afterwards) I had the feeling: "what have I been doing, was it good, was it bad."

Worked out ok though

I think it's normal. I walked off the shiai-jo, also trying to reflect on how I had performed. (Although my first feeling was of immensive relief that it was over!). I came to the conclusion that I had done my best and while I would have liked to have shown a wider variety of my kendo, the opportunity to do so didn't represent itself.
