Ah, happy new year folks!
Wish everyone another prospective year for both work/study and Kendo!

My last day of the year ---can't believe I sacrificed the opportunity to watch fireworks for a Kendo practice!!! Then almost spend the new year countdown in a traffic jam downtown when I left the dojo!!! :p

Consider yourself lucky that you've been able to practice lately. Our club has taken a two week vacation only to resume on January 5th. Ugh! I feel guilty and sloth-like. :)
Anyways I hope to see a lot of you in 2003. I plan on much kendo travel in the new year.
And our club is planning our very first spring gasshuku. All I know is that it is tentatively looking like the weekend of May 31st-June 1st (don't hold me to this folks). Other details right now are still sketchy, but when I get more information I will definately let you all know!

Gotta get all you Halifax people to drive to Alberta :)

I only had four days (of pure hell) not training...only useful present I got was a new set of kneepads for iaido - not one new sword or shinai, done really badly this year! bah humbug to Xmas etc...:D Cant wait for my next big weekend bash!
