I listen to Japanese rock too. ^_^ Actually, I only listen to songs that are in Japanese with the acception of other songs that I really like. I don't know why, but I just like to listen to songs in Japanese. Its fun to sing along to it too. I'm not a good singer....but I still like to. =P

The only music I don't like that much is country and some "gangsta'" rap. I like rap, but not ALL this new stuff, old school is where I'm at.
But my favorite music genres are probably rock(all types), techno, and classical.

(hard) rock, metal, punk like Slipknot Offspring pennywise, rancid, Rammstein => rulez and stuff. I seem to have this thing for rock bands with a chick as a singer: Garbage, No doubt, Catatonia, the Cardigans, I like those too. I loved the new Hoobastank CD and also Incubus and Audioslave are awesome.
And a bit off the fact that I like electro, techno and hard acid techno, but that's maybe because "It's the kind of music everyone listens to before doing something destructive. Sports teams listen to it before a big game, politicians listen to it before a speech, armies listen to it before they go to war, kids listen to it before they clean their room. I bet God was listening to it before he made humans" (quote from ishkur's guide to electronic music. www.ishkur.com (http://www.ishkur.com/) =>ishkur's guide to electronic music v2.5 => techno => hard acid)

I will copy paste the list I made on the other thread and add some other things.
In January I was listening to:
Echo & The Bunnymen - Ocean Rain
Talking Heads - Remain in Light
Sonic Youth - Daydream Nation
Blur - Parklife
Radiohead - OK Computer
Belle and Sebastian - Tigermilk
Mogwai - Young Team
My Bloody Valentine - Loveless
Weezer - Pinkerton
The Verve - Urban Hymns
Sisters of Mercy - Vision Thing
The Smiths - Strangeways Here We Come
The Jesus and Mary Chain - Honey's Dead (right now)
Tears for Fears - The Hurting
The Church - Starfish
Divinyls - Divynils
Pixies - Doolittle
The Police - Synchronicity
Hüsker Dü - Zen Arcade
Cocteau Twins - Garlands
Cowboy Junkies - The Caution Horses
There have been some changes. I haven't heard Sisters of Mercy in a long time, neither the Divinyls or the Cowboy Junkies. My fave talking Heads record is now "The Name of This Band Is", "If You Are Feeling Sinister" is displacing Tigermilk as my favourite Belle & Sebastian CD.
For New things:
Franz Ferdinand - Franz Ferdinand (not new but I hadn't listened to it in some time)
Interpol - Turn On The Bright Lights (same as above)
Annie - Anniemal
Autechre - Autechre (lp5)
The Arcade Fire - Funeral
Of these Funeral has lately been my favourite album I love it.

For a 16 year old, you sure listen to some older music. The only band I see 16 year olds listening to (or at least sporting the shirt) is the dead kennedys.
I like all music, and that includes country. However, that hardcore gansta rap becomes intolerable sometimes. But lately I have been stuck on Jack Johnson.
