How would I get rid of them... I have some on my men.

Use a soft-bristled nylon brush such as you'd use for scrubbing potatoes or shoes. Wetting the brush with clean water (no soap!), scrub the salt stains away. You can rinse the men with running water, just don't get it too wet.

Just make sure the bristles are fairly soft, otherwise you might damage the cotton cover of the futon.

Use rubbing alcohol with a cloth!!!!!!!!!It works perfectly. I cleaned my moldy bogu set with alcohol and its back where it should be but far from being new again. Just rub the cloth dampened with alcohol and it will be gone, it will kill the germs at the same time.:)

HeriOn if the salt stains are rrrreally bad you can send the equipment to a Bogu cleaner, they exist in Korea and Japan. You could also try a good hockey equipment cleaner, they also do a good job. I avoid bad salt stains by wiping stained parts with a damp cloth after every pratice.

Munenmenso does the vodka dry up the leather? How about the orange juice?

Critical Bill I have used Febreeze and Aero San to remove Bogu stench. The smell is caused by the growth of bacteria. Aero San was developed to sanitize rental bowling shoes. Talk about stench! You should also be able to find an equipment disenfectant for walking boots in your local camping equipment store.
