hello out there

I was just wondering when ever i look at a website based around Samurai, they never include the Satsuma Rebellion of 1877 and how Sagio takamori took one last stand against Japans Government anyone heard of website that includes the last years of the Samurai?

I got a book names "Last Samurai". It is about Saigo Takamori. You can try find it on amazon.

I think you might be having problems because you're spelling his name wrongly. It should be Saigo Takamori (or Kichinosuke, or Nanshuu, but let's not worry about his other names). I tried the correct spelling in google and there seemed to be plenty of sites.

This page seems fairly stuffed, although it's all in Japanese. The picture on the front page is pretty much the standard image of Saigo (although there's that bronze in Ueno park as well), although I believe I read somewhere that the image was actually created by combining the face of his brother, and some other guy that I'm not familiar with.
