"o shitsurei shimasu"
"mata"
Someone is doing something impolite/discourteous
See you.
At least that's what I make of it. Maybe it is something very polite to end an conversation.
Where's Gibbo when you need him? He should know what this means.

Shitsurei shimasu can be translated as 'please excuse me'.
Mata can be translated as 'see you'.

Strange but it can also mean thank you.
Like you go to a shop and ask some one a question, you then say shitsurei shimashita! Sorry for bothering you.
