my favorite person in Japanese History would be either Tsukahara Bokuden or Musashi Miyamoto. Both experts swordsman.

Ryo/Yukimura Sanada. Nobody knows what became of him after the defeat of the summer campaign in 1616 by the Tokugawa.

I guess I should have said Yoshitsune and Benkei cause they are a team.
