I want to get some new Kendo gear at E-Kendo but I cant seem to understand how to log-on to their site and be set up with an account so I can place an order.
http://www.e-kendo.com/us/

Do you have any idea why it keeps telling me that im not useing charactors correctly, and it also asks me to fill in my ID, but I dont know what they want. I tried to put my name there but it didnt work.

I am registered with them, try using lower caps and _ instead of spaces to see what happens.

I had no problems :confused2

I just went and registered with them and I was having the same problems until i removed spaces and caps and replaced spaces with underscore as Commander-San suggested... then it accepted me...

ALRIGHT!!!!!

Ok Im all logged on,,,,NOW the NEXT PROBLEM....

Im all set to get my 4mm kendo gear , I filled out all the questions about what I want it to look like, Im all set to buy it...

Then trouble...

The site asks me to fill in a box where I want the stuff shipped to. I put in "USA"
and then I hit "BUY"
The screen goes blank for a second, then it comes back and again asks me what area I want it shipped to...I again put in "USA", the moment I do the screen goes blank on it's own, and then once again comes back and asks me again what area I want it shipped to.....

I again put in "USA",,,,,get a blank screen for a second, and then Im asked again, "What area shipped to?

Whats going wrong?
Did I missunderstand the question?

Just send them an email to place an order and then phone in your card details. Saves loads of buggering around and the last time I ordered from them, they had no secure server to use for credit card details to be entered.

OK,,,,
But Im actually calling South Korea right?

is this tricky?
they speak english?
and this phone call is about how much money?

Yes, you will be calling South Korea. A phone call cost me about £1.50, and if you ask for Son Kwon Sang, he speaks good English.
I suggest that you just send them an email with an order request, and explain that you want to phone them at a mutually acceptable time (time difference needs to be taken into account) to make payment. Then when you do phone, ask for Son Kwon Sang and he will take you card details over the phone.

I have been through this process, and to be honest it was no different to phoning someone up in anywhere else and placing an order.

Ok,,,,for a while there I thought the problem was fixed...

However I was wrong,,,way wrong....

Tonight I was unable to even log-on to the site so there is no way I can place an order.

I sent an email and yesterday I got back an answer from that guy, and he said to just place an order via email.

So tonight I sent in the order information and when I get a phone number and a time here that I should call them there, I will call...

I must admit their format for the ogu invoice has some bugs. I had problems when I bought from them. Everything worked out though. Also they keep you informed. If they are missing information they will tell you. They want you to be as happy as they are. ( and they are really happy. :))

Their phone number is 82-51-647-0894 as shown on the website. Don’t know how to dial that in the US, but an operator should be able to help you with that (but try to get them to read out the number and NOT put you through, as in the UK they charge you a lot of money for that)

I wanted to come back and just thank everyone who posted.

last night I got to have the longest distance phone call of my life!

because my wife gave me the 'look" when I told her of my plan to call Korea and place my order....I sent a fast Email to E-kendo.com and told them that they better call me. It was not a problem.

Within one hour of me sending my phone number to them in the email I heard the phone ring.

I have never talked to someone who really didnt know that much english, and who lived on the other side of the world at the time.

We live in a cool age of mankind, where average people can talk to other average people anyplace in the world.

The quality of the phone call was good, given the bounceing that call was making, I could hear the guy on the other end very clearly, I could even hear lots of his co-workers speaking around him in korean.

I placed my order, confermed the SIZE questions, and was told it will arrive here in North Dakota within 3 months.

3 months is about right given the little trip my Bogu now has to make.

Thanks for all you guy's help....this was a struggle with the poor website that E-kendo.com has running right now, but I'm happy with how everything ended....

In the past I emailed e-kendo and told them what I wanted, when I couldn't get the website to work. They were nice and got me a pair of kote in a smaller size than what was offered on the website.

OK....about the Kote

I liked e-kendo.com because they do try to size the men for your head, and the DO is picked out to match what I wanted to look like.

However the Kote is what?...just tossed out of a bin to me?

I never was asked if I have large American hands...or tiny little girly hands.
What if they dont fit?
