how is this book ?

i'm looking for a book about the history behind today's budo, the cultural aspects, etc. would that be a good purchase? anyone can tell me what are the different parts of the book ?

I have purchased the book and read it through once. I definately reccomend it it is full of exactly what it says perspectives on Budo in the modern world with plenty of references to the history of the various arts. I must warn you though, it is not an easy read! It will take a few re reads to help it all sink in. The book is basically filled with essays from various academics and is a good insight to how Budo is progressing in the modern world.

Congratulations to Alex and the Kendo world team for bringing us this wonderful book.

Please get the book and use it to further your Budo career.
