For those of you who have been in Kendo long enough, what do you guys do to the old bogu set when you eventually buy a new one? I'm not looking to buy a new set since mine is less than a year old now, but it's just a random thought that came up in my mind last night.

I can see people that quit Kendo or outgrow their bogu to just resell it to someone else, but what about those that feel that their bogu isn't really fit to sell? I don't think you can walk down the street and find a Kendo Recycling place (although it would be nice to see).

Some people make their own "sensei" just like clubs.

Kind of like a braced bogu stand for hitting.

Donate it to your club for use as loaner/rental bogu.

If you practice a lot it's nice to have a couple of sets so that everything isn't always soaked when you put it on. Same with keikogi and hakama.
