I assume Ryan means Gaint Drunken Robot.... as in:

He gave me "Robot-Style", which I have tried to master ever since, incorporating my own brand of tics and twitches, stumbles and feints. The idea for me is to imagine being trapped in one of those huge rubber robot suits like they film the Power Rangers TV show in. It's hot and sweaty, and I can't see a goddanm thing. Secretly, I've been sucking down Scotch between takes, and by the time of the big fight scene I'm pretty much shit-faced. Still, I am huge and powerful so none of this matters. My opponent will crumble before me like a city-block of skyscrapers. I will crush everything in my path to put a stop to his evil-doing. Giant Drunken Robot-style was born. That's the mind-state I put myself in, and it works.
Sure, I take a lot of hits, and they always see my moves coming. The key is to realize that they are going to block, and then to find a way to bring even more power to bear on that block than they are expecting. If they try to run away or dodge, I get them back in a corner and crowd them with my hugeness, crushing them with my iron fists. I pretend their strikes and hits are tiny little missles bouncing off my armored core, ineffectual attempts to stop the behemoth. If I find myself really in a bind, I unleash the spinning backfist- guaranteed to shatter their defenses, draw blood and end the fight.

So, ummm, anyway, the answer is, uh, no.

One of the senseis at my dojo got info from another sensei who moved to Japan, that they use a robot for kendo. It will go for you if you don't attack in time. I was pretty funny.
