I am looking to get a new men soon, and I’d like to ask any members who own a titanium men if they feel the material was worth the extra expense. I have been eyeballing the titanium men for a while now, as they are stronger than aluminum, lighter than steel, and won’t corrode (a big concern out here in Hawaii).
Doubt began to set in when a salesperson at Eiguchi told me that the titanium men was much heavier and not worth the $$ compared to “duraluminum”.
What do you titanium owners out there think? To give you my frame of reference, I currently use a 6 year old ratty (and well loved) steel men.
Thank you -

I don't like the duraluminum. Yes, it is lighter but after you break in your men, you won't really notice a difference. The downside to duraluminum is that if you ever clash with your aite and bump mengame, it leaves quite noticeable dents on the front of your duraluminum.

Ah - the shame! After a year of reading posts from you folks asking people to search the threads before starting a new one, I vowed to never make the same mistake. Obviously I haven't figured out the finer points of the search tool, as I found nothing before this post - and once I put it up here there were 4 great links automaticly generated at the bottom of the page! Yikes - sorry to beat a dead horse with my redundant thread. I read through the old threads and placed an order for a titanium men.
