I was at work a few days ago(yes, I actually turned up for once) and one of the boys comes up and says "hey, I saw this documentary on a crippled guy who does kendo."
It was quite interesting because he said the guy was wheelchair bound but still could do it. Oh, I think he was from the states.
Anyone else seen or heard of this guy?

my senpai told me about him. she said 'my knee hurts so much, but i'll do kendo even if my legs are screwed and have to do kendo like that american dude'
she said he used one hand to pump himself up and the other to strike katate.
i think if you get to see a video of WKC 9 or 10 you might be able to see him.

The show "Ripley's Believe it or not" had a little tidbit on him a few months ago. It showed him doing some geiko. He was really cool. He holds his shinai in his right hand ala jodan and "propels" himself with his left. He hit men by "jumping" up. It was incredible.
I have it on tape to. maybe i'll watch it tonight bnefore class for some inspiration.
