Kyoto taikai in May

Anyone else going to the Kyoto taikai on May 2nd? Off to do some iaido/ kendo training afterwards so anyone want to meet for a few beers and a chat let me know.

Hi Tim,

All of the Kendo World team will be in Kyoto for the taikai. We've booked space on a table outside the Butokuden, so drop by.:)

We always get together and train, too, usually at Kyoto university.

If anyone else is coming into town around then, let us know!

I am looking forward to seeing you all. I'm over with three friends and am meeting a few more ( hopefully) who live in Japan, also watching two friends take 8th dan iaido... hope they pass!
