ISO Japanese movie/DVD: "Gojoe" (Gojo Bridge)

Any forum lurker living in Japan (or elsewhere) seen this movie? It screened at the 2000 Melbourne Film Festival and hasn't seen a release here in cinema or DVD since. It's a huge blockbuster of a jidaigeki film. Fantastic SFX, great story (about the warrior-priest Benkei), lots of fight scenes and spooky esoteric Buddhist magic. It's like a cross between Apocalypse Now and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

I don't know anyone else who's heard of it let alone seen it. Would be great to get on DVD with subtitles...

I saw it in nihongo minus the subtitles. My nihongo is absolutely crap, but I did watch the whole film and - I think! - got the jist.

I saw posters for it in the theatre, unless there is another film of the same name. Unfortunately, I don't think there are any subtitles on the Japanese dvd. If i'm wrong, then I sit corrected, however.
