Mine says "registered user" how do I change that?

Click on "User CP."
Click on "Edit Profile" under "CONTROL PANEL - Settings & Options."
Go to first box under "Optional Information," and make changes there.

You must first be a senior member to do it.

They can't. Senior member refers to post numbers among other things. may new members have many posts (more than needed really)

You say senior status refers to posts and "other things." If it's not a bother, may I ask what those "other things" are?

I just noticed mine says "Yudansha". I'm pretty sure I didn't put that there (since I had to look up this thread to even find out how to do it). So who put it there? It never said "Yudansha" before. Do the mods read through all the posts, ferret out information (I can only think of one post where I mention my grade), then edit users profiles? If so, I'm impressed.

If I'd known it was that easy to become yudansha, I would have posted more when I first started kendo/joined this forum.
