NIce book on kenjutsu, scroll down and look at the pic of the guy with the nodachi...its bloody bigger than he is!

Yay! Someone found a picture! Way back when I lacked a good explanation or picture, but that's where I picked my name from.

On a more educational note, how does one draw such a weapon gracefully, or does one have to put the sheath on the ground and walk away from it while pulling the sword with you???

ask hyaku. he uses swords as long as that and i think he is an authority to that.:)

you cut a big kihon men with the saya still on towards the opponent...it flys off, cops the bugger in the head, leaving you to chop him to kingdom come. :D

I bought this very same book a few days ago from Amazon.co.jp after I finially figured out they have an English version (!). But this book only costs 1800 yen. Shipping is around the some price, but I also ordered other books.
