Best dojo in Los Angeles area?

Which is the best dojo in the Los Angeles area? I'll be coming down for a week to see a friend and I'd like to practice while I'm down there. Might stay on for the summer too. Any members here? Must be quite a few. Any Team USA ppl around?

Just a followup with more detail, I'll be right next to UCLA campus, although I will have a car with me as well.

I have once exchanged messages with Mizobe Sensei (Cary Y. Mizobe) who runs Westside Kendo Dojo in Los Angeles.

I'm pretty sure that it's a good one to try. Mizobe sensei is a very nice person and has plenty (plenty) of kendo experience.

Navigate to Dojo schedules or Member Dojo (something like that). Depending on your free time there is practice everyday somewhere except Sunday.

Don't know about Team USA practices but they are on Sundays I think.

If your schedule works out with you, I extend an open invitation to come on down to Gardena JCI. We're at the coner of 162nd and Gramercy. Nearest cross street is Van Ness and Redondo Beach Blvd. We practice on Fridays at 7:30 pm.

Mizobe sensei's dojo practices on monday at 7:30 pm. Check their website for the address.

Venice Kendo Dojo practices on wednesdays at 7:30 pm at the Venice Japanese Community Center. They are at 12448 Braddock drive.

Other dojos, Chuo Dojo practices on Mondays and Thursdays I don't have their address... maybe someone can help me out here:)

Sho Tokyo practices on Wednesday and Friday late afternoon, I think. They are in Little Tokyo at Nishi Hongwanji.

There is Torrance Dojo at the Torrace Civic Center. I don't know when they meet . I hope someone can give that info.

Those are the ones off the top of my head. I hope this helps. Also, I hope to see you over at Gardena JCI.

Hey Titus There is a list of all California Dojos on the AUSKF website and a list of all So Cal DOJOs, practice times, contacts and addresses on the SCKF website. Mizobe usually is at Westside on Mondays, Venice on Wednesdays and Gardena JCI on Fridays. If you keiko with him watch out for the door......ouch:beard:
